South Central Solar Project

The South Central Solar Project is the biggest renewable energy project of Saskatchewan. The Project is located near Estevan at Poplar River, Saskatchewan. The project is developed by Prairie Sun Solar Inc. for SaskPower, the project is considered a major step in reaching the province's clean energy and sustainability goals. This Solar Power project equipped with two 100 MW of clean electricity with this project will be a source of reliable power for thousands of homes and businesses across Saskatchewan. This will take the Saskatchewan to another level in terms of Green Energy. It is estimated that there will be reduction of nearly 180,000 tonnes in terms of Co2 emission annually.
